Whatever. How did saying "whatever" get so popular?#

This is a postmodern statement that comes from pragmatism. Pragmatism basically says, "If it works, it is good" without regard to ethics. It does not matter whether or not it is ethical.

When someone uses whatever, there is no sense of responsibility from one human being to another human being.
